Tap a covered cell to reveal it. Your first reveal is safe.

A clear head. A fresh field.

Choose your difficulty, then press New Game.

Timing starts with your first reveal.

Arrows move · Enter / Space reveal · F flags · C chords · Right-click flags

Flags do not start the timer. It starts on the first reveal. · Flags are estimates, not confirmed mines.

READ THE FIELD

Every number is a clue.

Reveal every safe cell to clear the field. Each number counts mines in its eight neighboring cells, including diagonals.

Flag, then cross-check

Switch to Flag mode to mark a suspected mine. When a revealed number has exactly that many neighboring flags, Chord opens the rest. Wrong flags can make a chord explode.

Choose your field

Beginner uses 9 × 9 cells and 10 mines; Intermediate uses 16 × 16 and 40; Expert uses 30 × 16 and 99. Custom lets you choose a size and mine count.

A safe beginning

Your first reveal is safe. Standard boards also protect its neighbors. Very dense custom fields protect only the clicked cell. Daily Challenges may require guesses; no-guess solving is not guaranteed.

Progress saves after each action and every few seconds. Leaving pauses the timer. Restart keeps the same starting field; repeat the same first click for the same layout.

Custom field

5–30 columns, 5–24 rows. Keep at least one safe cell. Dense fields may protect only your first cell.

Start a new field?

Your unfinished Minesweeper field will be ended. Its active play time remains in your statistics.

Minesweeper paused

The field is concealed and the timer is stopped.
